Treylon Burks

The first thought that came into my mind when watching film on Burks is that he a WR version of Kyle Pitts. He has good size, good speed, good hands, is good in contested situations and space, and finds the open spot in zone coverage. However, he needs to improve his routes and you expect better blocking from someone of his size.

I find it interesting how, like Pitts, he can line up across the formation and do a lot of great things, suggesting a difference only in official position name, but he isn’t being talked about as a top-5 talent. That is more of a commentary on Pitts than on Burks, though. Burks is a great player.
