I think Newsome is a strong player, but he loses some speed in game. I guess the Browns thought that pairing him with the speed corner of Denzel Ward would be a good idea. I hope they are right.
*Side note: I saw some very sloppy technique against the double-move. Instead of pivoting from his hips he turned his body (and thereby back on the play and wr), something that top corners never do.
