The problem with Matt is that his film is corralled to a type of game-play that doesn’t really fly in the NFL. He ran a heavy run-pass-option offense in college, and no team in the NFL runs that. Of course, we have seen teams change their offense in the past, and the style of play is always evolving with the talent, but it seems unlikely that an NFL team will make this style the bedrock of their offense. With that being said, he doesn’t have much experience going through progressions and has an imperfect arm. He likely will get drafted, I would guess on day 2, but it seems unlikely that he will dominate at the next level.
